Bulgarian Food Safety Agency donated 16 tons of frozen chicken legs. The meat will be distributed among 263 social institutions, including - homes for children deprived of parental care, homes for disabled children and elderly people’s homes across the country. After confiscation, the meat was tested in an accredited laboratory BFSA, and found to be edible. Therefore it will be donated to 263 social institutions with nearly 17 000 people.
Deep frozen chicken meat was confiscated after a check made by officers of the Regional Directorate for Food Safety - Plovdiv, together with officials of the Police Station - Plovdiv by a signal of March 17, 2011.
