Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Miroslav Naydenov and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel Orit Noked, visited dairy farm “Domlyan” in village of Domlyan, Municipality Karlovo. They saw manufacturing facilities and tasted a unique yogurt with fibers of Bulgarian rose.
Minister Naydenov announced that tomorrow together with the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel they are expected to sign a declaration of cooperation between Bulgaria and Israel in the field of agriculture and food industry. He said he hoped that the cooperation between two countries would deepen and this would positively affect business.
Minister Naydenov explained that he chose to introduce the dairy farm “Domlyan”, because it is with an average production capacity, it is a family business which is being developed and expanded, as his owners rely on new technologies. The rose fibers in the yogurt are an innovation which is unique for our country.
MP of GERB Mr. Nikolay Petkov and Deputy Regional Governor of Plovdiv Mr. Georgi Ignatov participated in the delegation’s visit.
Later the two Ministers visited a vegetable market in Karlovo, where Minister Naydenov showed the guest Bulgarian pink tomatoes, reaching the size of one kilogram, as he explained that their size and taste are due to the climate in our country, and mostly to sun and water.
