Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Prof.Dr. Georgi Kostov and Executive Director of the Executive Forestry Agency Engineer Biser Dachev met with Mayor of the town of Ihtiman Margarita Petkova and municipal councillors. Deputy Executive Director Engineer Krasimir Kamenov, General Secretary Professor Valentina Marinova, Director of the Forest Policy and Business Activities Directorate Professor Tony Krastev, director of the Regional Directorate of Forestry of Sofia, Professor Anton Popov also participated in the meeting.
The merger of the Forestry farm of Ihtiman and Forestry farm of Kostenets was discussed during the meeting.
Deputy Minister Kostov said that all structures in the sector will be restructured with the adoption of the new Forestry Law .
