A motor cutter “Neptune”, which performed an economic fishing in Bulgarian part of the Black Sea aquatory, was scrapped with the financial assistance under Operational Program for development of “Fishery” sector. The premium paid out for its scrapping is under Measure 1.1 “Public aid for constantly cessation of fishing activities”.
Beneficiary – ET “Ivet-Yordan Kuzov”, Varna, has concluded a contract for purchase and selling of “Neptune” for scrap with a licensed company for trading of scrap of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Measure has a compensatory character and it is financed by European Fishery Fund. The grant is up to 100% of the estimated premium. 85% of the amount is European funds and 15% - national additional payment of state budget.
The calculated premium under the project amounted to BGN 71 700, and the financial support amounted to BGN 70 000. The premium reduced with the size of selling price.
That is the forth project with paid public aid from State Fund “Agriculture” for the cessation of fishing activities under Program “Fishery”.
