President of the Agricultural Academy Prof. Georgi Kostov met with Ambassador of the People's Republic in Bulgaria H. E. Mr. Guo Yedzhou in the SAA. They discussed issues of cooperation in agricultural science. On the Chinese side there is an interest to interact in education, technology and market development of products of rose oil, as well as a joint production of rose oil products.
They discussed the presentation in Bulgaria of agricultural machinery produced in China, which recently won a reputation in the market of heavy industry and is offered at very attractive prices.
They discussed the possibility of specialization of Chinese scientists in the country.
Agricultural Academy carries out joint activities with the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Harbin and the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Guangxi Province, covering soil science, plant and animal genetic resources, genetics and selection of plants and animals, irrigation, mechanization, plant protection, processing of agricultural products and others.
