Farmers will not re-register each year. This was announced by Minister of Agriculture and Food Miroslav Naydenov at the meeting with potato producers from region of Samokov.
Farmers will submit new applications each year if only there is a change in the activity of the farmer or agricultural areas, said Minister Naydenov. He added that this would be done with a change of the Registration of Farmers Ordinance. This way the regime will be liberalized and the bureaucracy will be simplified, explained the Minister. Potato producers asked for irrigation systems restoring and for subsidies increase for the other farmers, not only for the grain production sector. The farmers from Samokov reminded that a Minister of Agriculture and Food has not visited the region for 20 years.
The meeting was also attended by MP of GERB – Emil Dimitrov and Tsvetan Sichanov.
