Projects of companies from food processing and forestry sectors approved today by the State Fund "Agriculture" will receive BGN 21,319,500 under the RDP Measure 123 "Adding value to agricultural and forestry products." With the funds seven plants will be built and other sixteen will be modernized.
Four of project investments are for meat processing companies. With the subsidies will be built poultry slaughterhouses, while the other three meat processing companies will invest in new equipment and repair of buildings. Two feed production factories will be built while two others will modernize their production facilities. Establishment of sunflower processing plant and dried fruits plant, as well as winery building is envisaged. Another winery will modernize its technical and laboratory equipment. One of the projects is of an enterprise for the production of dried mushrooms, which will repair its workshop and buy drying and refrigeration facilities. Seven other companies with approved projects will make investments in the processing of wood, milk, flour, oil and essential oils.
