The procedure for transfer of individual milk quotas without agricultural holding of a producer or the so-called "Quota Exchange" was launched for the third year in Bulgaria in August 2011. Following the announcement as of January 16, 2012 for another application acceptance for the purchase of individual milk quota, the Fund has approved 122 applications with a total value of BGN 969,079 Total amount approved for the purchase of delivery quota reached 13,530,780 kilograms. And those for the purchase of direct sales quota - 313 200 kg.
The deadline for submission of applications for purchase quota was 31 January 2012. Purchase price, approved by the Minister of Agriculture and Food for the 2011/2012 quota year is BGN 0.07 per kilogram of cow's milk delivery and BGN 0.07 per kilogram of cow's milk for direct sales.
Approved applicants must transfer the due amount on account of SF "Agriculture" - Paying Agency : Bulgarian National Bank - Head Office: IBAN: BG87BNBG96613200170001, BIC BNBGBGSD within 1 month from the sending date of the payment notification letter. If payment will not be made within that period, the requested participation for the purchase of individual quota is terminated.
