Wheat harvesting campaign in our country ends. According to data from Regional Directorates “Agriculture”, so far were harvested 99, 4 % of the lands or these are 10, 5 million acres. The reported average yield amounts to 406 kg/dca, as this indicator for 2010 was 360 kg/dca. The total output grain quantity to preliminary data amounted to 4, 25 million tones / according to final data of “Agro statistics” /.
Until the moment with highest share in total wheat output are districts: Dobrich – 525 693 tones, Pleven – 389 647 tones, Veliko Tarnovo – 256 089 tones, Varna – 252 167 tones, ruse – 250 451 tones.
With highest average yields are directorates: Silistra – 489 kg/dca, Dobrich – 472 kg/dca, Razgrad – 465 kg/dca, Pleven – 464 kg/dca, Varna – 441 kg/dca, Ruse – 439 kg/dca, Targovishte – 415 kg/dca, Vratsa – 406 kg/dca, Veliko Tarnovo – 404 kg/dca.
In locations are reported damages from hails, for which were issued or would be issued findings reports.
Completely failed areas, which are not harvested amounted to 8 970 decare.
National Grain and Feed Service noted that the current wheat crop is with very high bakery qualities. Quality wheat this year is about 30% more than in 2010 and it reaches 53% of entire crop.
