European subsidies per area are increased from BGN 18.50 per dca to BGN 22.50 per dca. Some, such as vegetable, fruit growers, pig breeders and poultry breeders will receive subsidies for the first time, "said Minister Naydenov.
Predefined parameters in the financial framework are maintained completely, with the exception of funds per area, where instead of BGN 240 million will be allocated BGN 100 million, said Minister Naydenov. Farmers affected by this change will be compensated as follows: tobacco growers will receive BGN 73 million, animal breeding farmers – BGN 71 million, vegetable growers will receive BGN 25 million and potato producers – BGN 5 million.
