Dr. Miroslav Naydenov, Minister of Agriculture and Food, who recommended the housewives to prepare the traditional Easter cake for this holiday by themselves, get two recipes for traditional Bulgarian cake. Although people say that this is not an easy task and requires time, patience and craftsmanship, the Federation of Bakers and Confectioners in Bulgaria (FBCB) provided a traditional Bulgarian recipe for the preparation of Easter cake.
Experts from FBCB remind that the whole process of making a good Easter cake should be done in a room with a temperature higher than normal temperature of 24-26 degrees maintained all the time. Good products, including eggs should be left for about 10 hours at room temperature before the start of the process. Crucial for the preparation of a good cake is neither a product or kitchen utencils not to be cooled!
