“Planting sycamores is a symbol of the coming ages, in which I believe that State Forestry Tsarevo will survive. It is important to leave nature behind us as it was.” This statement was made by agriculture and food minister Prof. Dimitar Grekov at the 100th anniversary celebration of the Forestry in Tsarevo. Minister Grekov, deputy-ministers Burhand Abazov and Valentina Marinova took part in planting a sycamore sapling in the yard of Secondary Comprehensive School “Nikola Vaptsarov” in the town of Tsarevo.
“I estimate highly your work and your purposeful efforts for the management of forests and game, and for their preservation as a valuable gift for the coming generations. The tradition is continued and evidence for this are all professionals who have worked in this forestry as directors, employees and forest guards, and may the future generations safeguard and keep the achievements in the times to come”, stated minister Grekov before the team of State Forestry Tsarevo. “We work together to ensure the pursuit of a consistent and well coordinated forestry policy, and to create the necessary conditions guaranteeing and improving the sustainable management of the forestry sector”, he emphasized further.
Minister Grekov and his deputies attended the festive meeting and concert “100 years Forestry Tsarevo”.
