Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Tsvetan Dimitrov held a meeting with farmers from village of Yablanovo, Sliven District. They discussed issues related with problems of farmers in the region.
Deputy Minister Dimitrov informed that the grants for tobacco have already been provided and in the first months of 2012 will be paid to tobacco producers. He noted that will have no closed farms for milk production, because MAF has provided the necessary actions in front of European Commission for prolong the term of derogation until two years.
“MAF’s policy is to be supported farmers and animal producers in mountainous and sub-mountainous regions, because of this we provide additional state aids for this regions”, said also Deputy Minister Tsvetanov.
The meeting was attended by Director of “Animal breeding” Directorate Mr. Kiril Kirkov and experts from Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
