"Bulgarian agriculture has the potential to satisfy the growing interest of Israel to expand imports of Bulgarian agricultural and food products," said Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Vassil Groudev during a meeting with H.E. Shaul Kamins Raz, the Israeli Ambassador in Sofia and Mr. Itzhak Ben-David, the Deputy General Director of "International trade and international relations" of the Israeli Ministry of Agriculture.
Vassil Groudev stressed that Israel has interest in Bulgarian wines, dairy products, rose oil and bee products. He expressed the willingness of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food to assist and encourage all initiatives that are in the interest of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation.
"Agriculture is one of your real resources. You have land, water and climate, while we have the experience, knowledge and technology. If we want to make a revolutionary change, we need to motivate people to engage in agriculture, "said H.E. Shaul Kamins Raz the Israeli Ambassador.
