Financial assistance was paid during the period February 9 to February 29 under Measure "Restructuring and conversion of vineyards." Three beneficiaries received the subsidy for the following activities "Reconstruction of the terraces" and "Changing formation without changing the supporting structure." So far, from the beginning of the 2012 fiscal year (October 16, 2011 - 15 October 2012) up to present the amount paid under the Measure "Restructuring and conversion of vineyards" reached BGN 10,667,379 (EUR 5,454,228), which is 24.87% of the estimated budget for the financial year.
The total budget for the National Support Program of the Wine Sector 2008/2009-2013/2011amounts to EUR112,683,000, and so far the sum of EUR 32,367,282 has been paid.
Sector "Wine" of the Paying Agency shall apply the common market organization of wine to the European Union, while financing takes place through measures set out by the Member State. Program funds are provided by the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF) and are divided under three measures: "Restructuring and conversion of vineyards", "Crop insurance" and "Promotion in third countries."
