" We will work more actively to increase bilateral trade with Turkey, " said Minister of Agriculture , Prof. Dimitar Grekov during the meeting with the Ambassador of Turkey to Bulgaria, H.E. Mr. Suleyman Gokce in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food . Minister Grekov pointed out that a working group between Bulgaria and Turkey will be formed which purpose will be to propose options and decisions on issues of mutual interest , including synchronization of the requirements for agricultural production control, regimes for animal export and registration of products in the European Union. Professor Grekov was clear that both countries have great potential to cooperate not only in the field of agricultural products export, but also for the promotion of investments.
Ambassador Gokce emphasized that relations between Bulgaria and Turkey are excellent and the existing opportunities for cooperation should be developed , given the strong competition from third countries.
