The renovated Visitor Center "Prilepa", within the territory of the Department of Natural Park "Vratsa Balkan” to the Executive Forestry Agency was officially opened today by the Deputy Mayor of Vratsa Municipality Any Vasileva and the Park Director – Nikolay Nenkov.
Tourists can spend an exciting day in the nature, combining their visit to the Ledenika Cave with a pleasant stroll along the “Karst and biodiversity”path, as well as to learn interesting facts about the caves within the Natural Park. The route is marked with information boards and recreation grounds, added Nenchev.
New attraction of the center is the permanent screening of popular scientific movies for caves. Renovated models of karst formations” could be seen at the center. There are also information materials and souvenirs for nature lovers.
