Minister of Agriculture and Food Miroslav Naydenov is to take part in a national forum themed ‘Climate challenges before the water and agriculture management in Bulgaria’, which will be held at the Representation of the European Commission (EC) in Sofia at 10 a.m.
The event marks World Water Day – March 23.
The event is organised by the EC Representation in Sofia, the Ministry of Environment and Water, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology with the Bulgarian Academy of Science.
Invited non-governmental organizations in the field of agriculture and food industry, as well as environmental organizationsare invited to participate in the forum The forum will be attended by Minister of Environment and Water Nona Karadjova, Zinaida Zlatanova, Head of EC Representation in Bulgaria, and Dr. Georgi Korchev, Director General of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, BAS.
Discussions will be carried out in two main working panels – influence of the climate changes on the water and agriculture management
