US Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador in Bulgaria H.E Mr. James Warlick presented to the Minister of Agriculture and Food Miroslav Naydenov as a gift a botlle of wine, produced by him. This happened after their meeting at the ministry. The US Ambassador revealed he owns a wine cellar where he produces red, white and rosé wines. He underlined that Agriculture Minister is the first among the ministers who receives a gift from his own production. In his turn, Minister Naydenov returned the gesture with a bottle of Bulgarian wine. Ambassador Warlick revealed also he enjoys Bulgarian wines very much.
During the meeting, Naydenov informed Warlick about the launch of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency, the upcoming forestry reform, the possibilities of producing energy from bio sources and the quality of Bulgarian food.The Ambassador praised the Minister for his efforts on food safety, on preserving Bulgarian forests, and on diversifying energy sources
The Ambassador announced that American companies show investment interest in livestock production in Bulgaria. According to him, Bulgarian agriculture will grow faster and will become more and more attractive for investments.
