On January 17, 2012 due to budget exhaustion application acceptance for support on several measures of " National Beekeeping Program for the three-year period 2009-2010." Under Measure B: "Fight against varroasis" resources are depleted in Sector 2: "Costs of purchasing products in the fight against varroasis." Under Measure D: "Measures to support the restocking of hives in the Community" the application is terminated in Sectior 1: "Purchase of new hives," and Sectior 2: "Costs to maintain or increase the number of colonies ".
Application acceptance was launched on 16 January with a resource of nearly BGN 6 million Due to the great interest shown, high rates of subsidy (between 80 and 100%) and simple conditions of the program, over BGN 5.2 million of the funds were involved yet on the same day with the costs declared in 900 applications for assistance under the above measures and sectors of the program.
