The application acceptance under Measure 123 “Adding value to agricultural and forestry products” will continue from August 15 to September 16. Eligible for supporting are only activities connected with processing and marketing of forestry, dairy, meat and apian products, as well as processing and marketing of grain, technical and medical cultivation; plant and animals oils and fats; fruits and vegetables; fodders; grape must, wine and vinegar. Under the measure will be accepted and investment proposals for energy production through processing of plant and animals products, with the exception of this produced by fish biomass. According to the Ordinance of acceptance, the budget provided amounts to EUR 68 364 991 including unabsorbed budget from a previous acceptance period.
The Fund reminds to applicants that farmers with approved projects, connected with restructuring of dairy sector, will receive subsidies bigger with 10%. The same is valid for the projects for improving of energy efficiency and energy production from biomass.
After 10 days – on August 19, the deadline for acceptance under the Measure 121 “Modernization of agricultural holdings” expires. The acceptance is open to farmers with projects under the following directions: implementation of Nitrate Directive, modernization of agricultural holdings inside and outside of sector “Milk” in accordance with Community standards, including investments for the implementation of Directive 91/676/EEC, purchase of machinery, equipment and immovable property (including perennial plants), necessary for transfer of farms to organic production. Farmers with approved projects under the Nitrates Directive will also receive 10% more resources than those with suggestions for other activities under the measure.
In 2011 the Fund received 223 applications under Measure 121, as 56 of them were submitted during the last acceptance period – from 25.07.2011. The total amount of subsidies under the measure is nearly BGN 52 500 000.
