On 15 March, the European Commission Representation in Bulgaria in cooperation with Active Users Association and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food organizes the celebration to mark the European Consumer Day. The event will be held at Serdika Center Mall, 48 Sitnyakovo Blvd in Sofia at 12:00 hrs.
Dr. Ventseslava Taseva, Deputy Executive Director of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) will participate in the official opening and present highlights in the agency's activities during the first year of its establishment.
In the course of celebration, a quiz entitled „Do you know your rights”, dedicated to consumers will be held from 13 hrs and at 14 hrs a presentation on new rules for food labeling will begin, where experts from BFSA will participate. The presentation will last up to 17 hrs.
During the event, a Reception Hall for Citizens is organized from 14 to 18 hours where they can do a consultation on food safety relating to the labeling of food products with the experts.
