From November 28 to December 1, 2011 Ministry of Agriculture and Food organizes helding of eight consecutive Bulgarian-Holland Seminars on theme: “restructuring of dairy farms, management of milk quotas in Bulgaria and perspectives in International plan”.

Seminars will be held in Vidin, Dimovo, Lom, Boychinovtsi, Kozloduy, Breznik, Radomir and village of Borovan, Vratsa District with participation of experts from MAF, Regional Directorates “Agriculture”, Executive Agency on Selection and  Reproduction in Animal Breeding, National Advisory Service in agriculture, Regional Directorates on Food Safety, milk producers and approved purchasers of cow’s milk.

During seminars will be discussed mainly issues on restructuring of dairy farms, management of milk quotas in Bulgaria and perspectives in International plan and will be made findings and professional recommendations for optimizing of animal breeding.

Lead speaker at the seminar will be Mr. Gerard Krebers – Head of Department Milk Board of Kingdom of Nederland. He has long experience in management of milk quotas. From Bulgarian side will speak expert from “Animal breeding” Directorate of MAF, Rumen Andreev.
