Subsidy under financial line de minimis is provided to feed animals in 2011. The funds will be transferred to 13 081 farmers’ accounts. Approved financial framework of state aid amounted to BGN 20 million.
The most means amounted to BGN 2 230 000 will receive 1 218 animal farmers in Region of Plovdiv. For Region of Blagoevgrad have been transferred BGN 1 189 350 to 910 farmers. In the Region of Burgas are supported 775 farmers with over BGN 1 189 300, and in Region of Kardzhali – 1 153 farmers with BGN 1 200 610.
The grant is intended to farmers, who breed cows, buffaloes, ewes and goats. They will receive BGN 60 per cow or buffalo and BGN 10 per ewe or goat. Rates were discussed with livestock associations and were approved by the Board of State Fund “Agriculture”.
The state aid is granted to natural person, sole proprietors and juridical person, who are registered by the order of Ordinance of establishment and maintenance a register of farmers in 2011. Each stock-breeder, assisted by de minimis is due to keep until the end of the year, 75% of the number of the animals, for which he received financial support under the Program.
