Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Miroslav Naydenov met with farmers form Berkovitsa Municipality, to acquaint with their problems.
During the meeting Minister Naydenov presented to farmers the project of Program for North Western Bulgaria, with which to be supported the poorest region in our country. “With this Program farmers in the region can benefit from tax preferences in applying under Rural Development Program”, said Minister. “The launch of this Program doesn’t depend only on me; it should be joint initiative of MAF, MPs of this election constituency and governors, but most of all it depends on finance. In budget for 2012 this funds are missing, but I hope that this would change”, noted Minister Naydenov.
“I and Minister of Labor and Social Polity Totju Mladenov are from this constituency region, therefore we both insist on this to happen. All have interested in developing of this region”, he also added.
The meeting was attended by governor of Montana Ivaylo Petrov and representatives of the structures of MAF.
