Representatives of Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Areas of the Republic of Macedonia are on five-day working visit at the State Fund “Agriculture”. The visit is financed by Program for Technical Assistance and Information Exchange (TAIEX) of Directorate General “Enlargement” with the European Commission. Experts will exchange experience with representatives of European Financing Department – SAPARD Agency in Sofia and Plovdiv from September 26 to September 30.
Among the topics discussed are procedures for application submission, the specificity of checks performed, as well as the preliminary and follow-up control during the implementation of projects, financed by European Union.
The aim of the TAIEX Program is to provide short-term technical assistance to partner countries in implementation and application of European legislation.
