Registration of vegetable producers under the Commerce Law when selling on markets will be abolished. This was announced by Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Miroslav Naydenov at a meeting with farmers in Pazardzhik. Currently, the Law on Commodity Exchanges and Wholesale Markets is being changed in Parliament and this amendment will be made within one month, he said. We turn the things back to the old order, because the small scale producers will suffer, added the Minister.

He and Edward Stoychev , Director of the Agency for Commodity Exchanges and Wholesale Markets agreed to introduce some order in the sector. "We need to fight illegal traders and resellers," said the Minister. He added that  some arrangements there should be made to screen out illegal resellers who work the back of the small vegetablegrowers. For the first time this year vegetable growers will receive subsidies. For this purpose, BGN 25 million are provided, which will be awarded based on the quantity and quality.
