Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Tsvetan Dimitrov met with Deputy Minister of Agriculture of National Republic of China, Mr. Gao Honbin in Peking. During the meeting was discussed the bilateral cooperation in field of agriculture.
The two Deputy Ministers discussed the interest of Chinese investitures in production of Bulgarian food from plant and animal origin, which to be intended to Chinese market.
At the meeting became clear that in order to be signed a bilateral protocol for trade between the two countries is necessary to be uniformed the criteria for food safety. In this relation, Deputy Minister Dimitrov proposed to be realized an exchange of experience of experts in pest control and veterinary field.
On behalf of Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Miroslav Naydenov, Deputy Minister Dimitrov delivered an official invitation for visit in Bulgaria to Minister of Agriculture of China, Mr. Han Changfu.
