"We are open for investment in production of grain, fruits, vegetables and wine", stated Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Miroslav Naydenov during a meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Bulgaria H.E. Mr. Guo Yezhou and the Chinese delegation led by Mr. Li Weiguo, Director of the State Farms and Land Utilization Office to the China’s Ministry of Agriculture,. The delegation includes representatives of the Tianjin Farms Cultivation Group Company Group, showing serious investment interest in Bulgaria.
Commercial Counselor of the China Embassy in Sofia, Mr. Lu Yongming also attended the meeting.
"Bulgaria has many competitive advantages - we have many arable lands and we are already benefitting form European funds, we also have a tradition in agriculture. Thus, Minister Naydenov summarized the investment conditions in Bulgaria.
