Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Dr. Tzvetan Dimitrov met with Hans-Egbert von Arnim. They both are co-chairmen of Working Group on Agriculture and Food Industry in Bulgarian-German Cooperation Council. The meeting was held at the Embassy of Bulgaria in Berlin.
Issues concerning the opportunities of German companies to apply under the RDP measures (2007-2013), as well as the creation of inter-ministerial working group between the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Minsitry of Agriculture and Environment in Saxony – Anhalt were discussed during the meeting.
Both parties agreed in two months’ time, each one to provide the other with specific topics of mutual interest to be discussed at the next meeting of the Working Group. It is expected to be held during the forthcoming official visit of the Federal Minister for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection, Ms Ilse Aigner to Bulgaria in early November.
In this respect, the Bulgarian side will send a formal request to the Federal Ministry for the realization of this possibility,as well as the inclusion of a delegation with representatives of leading companies in agribusiness.
